Job Summary:

The Sr. Data Product Manager will be responsible for developing big data management strategies, establishing data integration system, consolidating and analyzing all business operation related data to provide data-driven insights to business with specific action suggestions based on user needs by leveraging AI technologies.

Success will be met through exceptionally close coordination and partnership within Customer Innovation, with Business Units, Digital, BAI, DPO and Compliance, etc. and external experts in internet and technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with team's product managers, and engage with BU Digital Leads, understand companywide and BU level innovative GTM strategies and models, collect needs of data from multiple stakeholders and parties
  • Understand companywide data storage methodologies and requirements, data resource management planning, data analysis approach, and cooperation across complex organizational structure
  • Develop big data management strategies, design data product and establish data integration system to consolidate all business operation related data including user behavior data in digital platforms, field force effectiveness, market research, marketing intelligence, and etc.
  • Provide data & analysis support for GTM solutions, closely working w/ product managers
  • Establish China data asset management strategy & data warehouse to centralize data storage
  • Provide strategy and solution to optimize data buried method to collect data crucial for driving GTM transformation and business effectiveness
  • Automatize routine data analysis and provide report to business from Customer Innovation perspective
  • Manage and analyze business needs, proactively provide data-driven insights to business with specific action suggestions based on user needs by leveraging AI technologies.
  • In collaboration with internal digital related supporting functions to ensure the timely delivery of data products and platform
  • Introduce latest best data management practice in market and identify new opportunities to optimize innovative solutions
  • Provide analysis, insights and recommendations to guide high level decisions affecting digital product development, innovative business model and current business digital practice
  • Ensure all corporate standards of excellence and compliance are upheld while performing all Company business and demonstrate high ethical and professional standards, at all times, to maintain the excellent reputation of Pfizer PBG within the marketplace

Education and Experience:

  • At least 7-10 years of digital product design and data management experience
  • 5 years+ Internet industry and technical development experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated strength in product requirements analysis
  • Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry digital experience is preferred
  • Sharp business acumen and demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timeframes in complex organizational structure
  • Able to interact, partner and provide thought leadership for key stakeholders with comfort and ease
  • Experience working with agencies/vendors
  • Strong ability to anticipate roadblocks well before they occur and take action to ensure they don't arise
  • Acts decisively in complex and fast-moving environment
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's Degree preferred

Technical Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent sense of teamwork/collaboration
  • Familiar with data, analytic, and AI tools
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications capabilities and presentation skills
  • Excellent English and Mandarin Chinese skills
  • Experience with business process creation or re-engineering and change management
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing capabilities, and communication skills
  • Fluent with technology solutions to manage projects including appropriate Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
