You will play a vital role as a key contributor in large, multi-disciplinary matrix teams from project inception through to delivery of clinical drug candidates. Your significant experience of applying knowledge of principles, concepts, and practices of the discipline will make you a critical member of the team. Your skill and knowledge will help in making decisions that require choosing among limited options. You are proactive in contributing to all team discussions and creating an environment of collaboration.

It is your innovative scientific temperament that will help in making Pfizer ready to achieve new milestones and help patients across the globe.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Perform phage panning against a variety of antigen sources and formats under the supervision of more senior team members
  • Screen polyclonal and monoclonal phage samples using ELISA and other assays
  • Transiently express and purify antibodies using mammalian cells
  • Perform in vitro binding assays
  • Keep an up-to-date and accurate electronic laboratory notebook
  • Participate in relevant team meetings
  • Present protocols and data related to phage-display campaigns within individual and project team meetings

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Experience in protein-based assays (e.g., ELISA, Octet/SPR, or Biacore/BLI)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Interact effectively with peers and leaders as part of a multi-disciplinary team and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills

Nice-to-Have

  • Working knowledge and ability to work with display libraries including yeast and/or phage

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $64,600.00 to $107,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 7.5% of the base salary.
