What You Will Achieve

The ADC ADME department is seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist who will focus on quantitative small molecule mass spectrometry based bioanalytical method development, technical guidance/leadership and cross functional team representation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the following areas: small molecule mass spectrometry method development, sample extraction/preparation from a range of matrices, low volume/high sensitivity assay development, evaluation of bioanalytical data, and troubleshooting/maintaining high-end mass spectrometers. Familiarization with ADCs, PK analyses, in vitro metabolism and stability evaluations are a plus.

How You Will Achieve It

  • Develop sample preparation and LC-MS/MS bioanalytical assays to support ADC quantification and characterization of lead research molecules
  • Mentor junior colleagues with sample analysis, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance on mass spectrometers
  • Represent team in highly collaborative groups across research, translational sciences and clinical development

Qualifications

  • Ph.D., with 3+ years of experience, Master's Degree with 7+ years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree with 9+ years of experience, in bioanalytical quantitative mass spectrometry
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in small groups and for large audiences

Must-Have

  • Excellent Method Development and troubleshooting experience with high-end Mass Spectrometers.
  • Strong record of scientific achievement and excellent communication skills
  • Highly effective written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Expert knowledge of mass spectrometry and quantitative bioanalysis

Nice-to-Have

  • Doctoral Degree (PhD).
  • Experience in ADC bioanalysis
  • Experience with Agilent LC, Sciex operating systems, and Watson

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • General lab activities, including moving reagents and instrument maintenance requiring fine motor skills

Work Location Assignment: On Premise with relocation support available.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $99,900.00 to $166,500.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 15.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
