What will you achieve?

As a Medical Affairs Operations Specialist, you will partner with the Korean Medical Affairs Department to provide comprehensive organisational, project management, and administrative expertise. Your role will ensure the compliant and efficient operation and execution of Medical Affairs activities in Korea.

How you will achieve it?

  • Perform administrative duties for the Medical Department, including correspondence, collating reports of project metrics, organisation of meetings, and financial support and management (invoicing, POs, Vendor Maintenance) in compliance with relevant SOPs, work instructions, and local legal requirements.
  • Support the planning, tracking, and fulfillment of the Medical Department's budget.
  • Manage external funding, HCP consultancies, advisory boards, and Pfizer-hosted medical meetings as the MAPP-Navigator Champion for the Medical Department.
  • Manage the in-country CT-16 expanded access as project manager, ensuring adherence to Pharmaceutical Laws and Regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the medical affairs team to design, develop, and execute medical projects from initiation to close.
  • Maintain a common filing and archive system for medical purposes and regularly maintain files and archives.
  • Develop and maintain a network with other Medical Affairs Operations colleagues and commercial operations colleagues in-country.
  • Support and implement changes and new ways of working with both internal and external processes.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new employees and their training schedule.
  • Maintain Org. Charts, Distribution Lists, and MS Teams sites to support efficient and effective communication channels in the Medical Affairs Team.
  • Be client-focused and understand the role of medical affairs, purpose, structure, and strategic goals.

Qualifications

Must Have

  • High school with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with less than 2 years of experience.
  • Strong office management and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, MS Teams, and project management applications.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build working relationships and collaborate proactively across the organisation and externally.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English and one other language as required by location.
  • High ability to work in a changing environment.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in customer interaction within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience with project management.
