MAIN REPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

The Medical Affairs Effectiveness & Compliance Specialist is responsible for reviewing China EG / Corp. Sponsorship/oversea meeting, in order to control and manage external funding risk through effective models and procedure. He/she will Work closely with Internal control / Legal / corporate compliance team and other internal team in order to improve efficient pre-approval process and development corporate risk strategy.

This role also takes to provide cost effective and innovative solutions to the development and needs of Medical team in different areas, including process operation supporting and providing solution to avoid risk through collaborating with internal medical category team.

Medical Governance

  • Participate in various medical governance activities such as Compliance Committee review, CEP Committee review.
  • Be an integral part of the corporate risk management, work closely with internal functions, like Internal Control, Corporate Compliance and Legal et al. in order to make best corporate compliance management strategy.
  • Deliver core Medical review principles/training via the appropriate channel to build communication model to make compliance need of commercial team.
  • Coordinate corporate compliance team integration with sales system and manage overall compliance experience.
  • Provide regular Grant review report to China Medical Leadership Team as required.

Procedure and Policy (based on MAPP) consultant

  • Provider of Expertise opinion base on MAPP and other related corporate policy
  • Well understand the relevant procedures on MAPP, also ensure to implementation requested medical review, adjustments and providing medical comments
  • And as the MAPP procedure expert in China Medical, will responsibility to provide MAPP Policy related consultation and advice to China Medical team.
  • Work closely with Internal control / Legal / corporate compliance team to provide consultation, support and training for MAPP related projects to China Medical team.

REQUIRED SKILL SET

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Biology related preferred
  • Strong business sense and market acumen
  • Strong communication skill and influencing ability
  • Independently motivated with good problem-solving ability and excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in both verbal and writing in English

Experience:

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical company; Medical affairs, Operation related, Clinical Research, Drug Safety/PV preferred
  • Experience in medical review and handling of education grant and relevant medical programs plus
