OmniChannel Solution & Service (OSS): Within C4, the OSS team is accountable for strategizing, implementing, maintaining, tracking, and evolving next-level digital capabilities for external customer engagement.

The Content Experience, Innovation and AI (CXI&AI) team is part of the Omnichannel Services and Solutions (OSS) and responsible for cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of digital experiences within Pfizer. We craft exceptional experiences that captivate users and drive digital initiatives to success.

The Front-End Developer - Interactive Experiences Specialist is a technical role leading/guiding the design and development of interactive user interfaces using front-end technologies, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless integration between our systems. It requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, working together with other front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to turn ideas into polished, high-performance applications.

The role is crucial in driving innovation and implementing cutting-edge solutions that enhance Pfizer's digital marketing capabilities and customer engagement strategies and requires a passion for immersive and interactive content technologies.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Subject Matter Expertise - General

  • Define and oversee technical solution patterns and projects across immersive, interactive and AI technology initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain interactive applications and interfaces using a foundation of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React plus other JavaScript libraries and APIs.
  • Have a deep knowledge and experience of React.js
  • Experiment with emerging technologies to support the creation of innovative and engaging experiences.
  • Integrate and manipulate 3D models within web and application interfaces to enhance interactive content.
  • Understand the role of Unity and Unreal Engine in developing interactive experiences and how they can enhance application capabilities.
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest trends in immersive technologies and contribute ideas to drive continuous improvement.
  • Tackle complex challenges with innovative solutions and a forward-thinking approach.

Strategic Leadership & Delivery

  • Take risk-based approach to advance new concepts and methodologies that are moderately complex in the evaluation and recommendation of appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and integration with existing systems.

Resource and Financial Management

  • Manages and leads people, technological and financial resources within a department

Cross- Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Delivery Lead, Service Owners, stakeholders, and development teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Technical Services Leads and Platform teams, to ensure seamless integration and support for solutions with Pfizer's digital platforms and technologies.
  • Use a variety of communication tools and techniques to inform difficult concepts

Coaching and Mentorship

  • Actively share knowledge with others within department through existing knowledge sharing processes/systems on technical design reviews and solution evaluations to ensure alignment with business requirements, technological constraints, and industry best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSc degree with at least 5 years of experience OR Masters with at least 3 year of experience, OR a PhD with 0+ years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in solution architecture, technical design, and implementation of complex software systems, with a focus on React.js
  • Minimum of two years experience with React.js and JavaScript. Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into web applications.
  • A solid understanding of HTML, CSS, Node.js, and CLI tools.
  • Understanding of front-end development technologies, platforms, and frameworks, along with their strengths, limitations, and integration capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages, development tools, and software engineering practices relevant to front-end technologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies, project management practices, and software development life cycles.
  • Passion for exploring emerging technologies and driving innovation in the field of immersive and interactive technologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, robust, and scalable technical solutions.
