The Insights Strategy & Execution (ISE) group is accountable for delivering and integrating insights across All Commercial Analytics functional areas, pulling together insight-to-action recommendations. They conduct deep-dive performance reviews, secondary analytics, and forecasting, among others..

The ISE Lead UK will partner with the local commercial teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality strategic business decision support. As a member of the ISE organization, this colleague will partner with CAAI groups as Data Science, DSR, ISE global and MRI and APM as well other CMO groups as Bops and CFCE .

He/she will also work with Commercial Finance, Digital partner, and other functions as necessary to ensure all resources are fully and appropriately leveraged to deliver robust solutions to business issues.

He/she will be also accountable for continuous improvement and utilisation of new capabilities to maximise the competitive advantages of the business in UK and scaling approaches across IDM. The incumbent will: drive adoption and implementation of data science technics in the country as well as establishing Launch Excellence Analytics for the country.

The person in this role will be a proactive business partner with country leadership team and analytics reference for country President. He/she will develop and deliver the analytics and insights plan to support the adaptation of local, regional and global strategies and tactics for the local market as well as interacting with ICO and BT. This will include performance measurement, customer analytics, segmentation of customers, market research, resource allocation as needed to uncover insights.

This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. The successful candidate will join ISE colleagues worldwide that are constantly supporting business transformation through their proactive thought leadership, innovative analytical capabilities and their ability to communicate highly complex and dynamic information in new and creative ways.

This roles requires demonstrated competencies regarding multiple prioritization scheme and enabling team to navigate in a changing environment.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Role definition and Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Market Analytics

  • Provide Analytic support at regional level and interfacing with country and global ISE teams to provide data driven strategic guidance.
  • Support, develop and lead in house projects to maximize resource allocation projects, Return on Investment analyses, Segmentation and Targeting, through maximization of data in full alignment with regional CO. Work conjointly with Data Science team to scale models and approaches .
  • Mine large pharmaceutical databases to identify opportunities, trend breaks or emerging issues and utilize statistical and data visualization software, spreadsheets and relational databases as needed.
    Provide expertise on utilizing secondary data (geographical level, payer, specialty pharmacy, call activity) for analysis and reporting.
  • Lead and develop specific UK reporting solutions in full alignment with global Analytics engineers reporting group to minimize duplication
  • In partnership with regional stakeholders, recommend, define and implement business analytics plans that generate insights and influence business priorities and objectives
  • Support customer/omni-channel analysis and consultation to proactively provide deep insights that drive and maximize business opportunities, including segmentation, customer journey development, data mining, workshopping insights into actions. Collaborate closely with marketing and Customer Experience teams in this context and lead forums to analyze and discuss results with regional GTM and CFE groups
  • Understand key healthcare systems, data sources, and ability to merge those data sources in a meaningful way
  • Assist to frame, investigate, and answer key business questions related tothe identification and evaluation of commercial strategies and tactics
  • Support Cross projects for clusters and commercial office projects in IDM

Forecasting/Operating Plan Support

  • In partnership with key Pfizer stakeholders, assist the development of Long-Range Forecast, operating plans and Latest Estimate reviews. Regular review and enhancement of plans
  • Ensure effective performance measurement and deliver regular assessments of portfolio performance to leadership. Ensure accuracy of the reports and clear articulation of the data and its meaning for the business.
  • Collaborate with other COE's to inform and guide commercial resource allocation, including field force

Vendor/Offshore Resource Management

  • Develop, commission and contract projects through preferred vendors in alignment with Global MRI group
  • Accountable for meeting compliance and Corporate SOP obligations of all PMR projects in support of PMR Group
  • Direct workload of flexible resources

Collaboration with another Analytical team

  • Partner with other analytical teams to maximize efficiencies
  • Actively seek to share knowledge and expertise with other colleagues
  • Alignment with other CAAI teams (locally, regionally and Globally) to ensure cohesive activities with our stakeholders

PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Tableau, Power BI , analytics visualizations solutions
  • SQL, DSS demonstrated experience
  • Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Extensive experience in story telling to adapt to senior leadership expectations
  • Extensive experience in management of secondary data and familiarity with pharma applicable data is highly desired
  • Proven ability to connect, integrate and synthesize analysis and data into a meaningful 'so what' to drive concrete strategic recommendations and enable commercial decision making. Capable of describing relevant caveats in data or in a model and how they relate to business question.
  • Expertise in the field of customer/omni-channel analytics
  • Previous demonstrated experience of forecasting revenues
  • Significant experience in commercial, strategy, consulting and analytics; including experience with budget and resource allocation management (Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals experience highly preferred).

Education: Bachelor's degree required; Masters preferred in a quantitative discipline.

Limited business travel required.

Work Location Assignment: On Premise (working flexibility in line with 'log in for your day').
