What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a key resource and possibly lead lower levels within your area of expertise, recognized as a "LEAD" or "Subject Matter Expert".
- Manage personal time and professional development, taking accountability for your own results, and may lead and allocate the work of others.
- Contribute to project and departmental tasks, providing direction, training, and potentially acting as a lead worker.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential problems, considering wider implications beyond the immediate issue.
- Complete assignments independently, selecting appropriate methods, and ensuring team assignments are completed.
- Review non-standard work for technical soundness and may review the work of others, adhering to Pfizer standards and guidelines.
- Perform maintenance, adjustments, and repairs on production, process, facility, and utility equipment, participating in multicraft work activities as needed.
- Assess priorities and make decisions related to troubleshooting, diagnostics, and proactive maintenance of systems and mechanical equipment cost-effectively.
- Participate in safety training programs, use tools and equipment safely, and follow equipment schematics, logic diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Provide customer training on system implementation in compliance with company standards, government regulations, and make recommendations for improved machine performance.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of experience in commercial/industrial setting, handling HVAC equipment within an industrial environment.
- Universal EPA certification.
- Must have experience handling screw compressors, semi-hermetic compressors, shell and tube condensers, heat exchangers, and steam heating coils.
- Must have experience working with Climate cooling 20+ tons and refrigeration experience 40+ tons.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, strong work ethic, and good computer skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
- Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration
- 3+ years of experience in commercial/industrial settings, handling HVAC equipment within an industrial environment.
- Blueprint/schematic/electrical diagram reading.
- Working knowledge of Pharma Utility systems and operations.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Potential for routine exposure to hazardous materials, heights, and temperature extremes. equipment in motion, dusty and dirty conditions, stooping, bending, and heavy lifting. The proper use of the correct Personal Protective Equipment for each task as well as compliance with all applicable safety Standard Procedures is a must.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
May work variable shifts and 24-hour on-call as required.

The salary for this position ranges from $26,48 to $44,14 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company's policies.
