Global Clinical Supply (GCS) is dedicated to delivering investigational products for use in Pfizer sponsored clinical trials. The GCS Strategic Operations Management (SOM) Project Management Office (PMO) team provides the project management ecosystem to deliver programs that meet the Pfizer strategic priorities. The Project Support Specialist (PSS) will collaborate with the Project Manager (PM) to support the design and delivery of high quality, agile project management for GCS. The PSS will utilize project management tools to enable rapid progression of projects through their lifecycles.
The PSS may also work independently on projects at the discretion of the SOM head. The PSS must be highly organized, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is willing to be an active member of the team while working in a matrix environment. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and excel at managing a broad range of project management activities. In addition, the ideal candidate shall be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, and results oriented.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with the PM to provide operational oversight of assigned projects through the project lifecycle inclusive of meeting, information, timeline, and communications management.
- Complete and maintain project records (including resources, milestones, and finances) within the GCS Project Management Digital Platform (i.e.THOR).
- Provide ongoing project management maintenance and support for solutions defined within projects delivered by the PMO team.
- Collate/Collect data from available sources to enable data analysis in support of the PMO functions.
- Collaborate with the PMO team to report metrics for the GCS non-clinical portfolio projects and provide trends on a basis to identify project issues and prioritization.
- Support the GCS Learning & Development program for key GCS activities as well as coordinate the administration of central training and compliance.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, with at least 1-3 years of experience in project coordination/management or administration
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple, complex projects, developing successful partnerships and maintaining strong customer focus
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in relating to colleagues and associates both inside and outside the organization
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
- Proven ability to adapt and adjust as needed. Team-oriented and flexible; daily tasks can rapidly shift
- Able to build strong global and local networks across functions, lines, and departments
- Demonstrated ability and initiative to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Ability to manage own time with limited supervision
- Capable of handling multiple tasks with tight deadlines in a matrixed, fast paced environment
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Attend periodic meetings with teams in other global time zones outside normal work hours.
