ECMI Support- Associate Engineer

Enterprise Collaboration and M365 Infrastructure (ECMI) team is responsible globally for the physical & virtual methods that our clients use to access business systems; managing hardware & application stores; collaboration infrastructure & M365 tenant administration; fax, enterprise printing and video engineering services.

Working with experienced engineers, the Associate Engineer will engage with technologies including Exchange, Exchange-Online, Outlook, TEAMS, Mobile Technologies utilizing ActiveSync as well as Solutions for Enterprise Archiving, Hygiene of email, SMTP, Large File Transfer. The role will include use of PowerShell, Microsoft EWS, and Rest API's.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide direct support in the development and operation of ECMI including but not limited to Microsoft Exchange Onprem, Microsoft Exchange Online, Outlook, TEAMS, Configuration of Pfizer's Microsoft 365 Tenant, Mobile Technologies utilizing ActiveSync as well as Solutions for Enterprise Archiving, Hygiene of email, SMTP, and Large File Transfer.

  • Provide technical capability in the development of new services.
  • Respond to ad hoc platform questions and provide guidance to organizations in the company.
  • Research products and vendor capabilities and external workforce platforms and applications landscape, especially cloud service providers, offerings, and controls.
  • Identify regional & global services or innovative techniques to improve access to business systems.
  • Work effectively in a team environment, including cross-unit and cross-divisional teams, and maintain poise and composure in difficult situations, with a professional attitude at all times.
  • Implement innovative and advanced new concepts to solve business problems securely.
  • Support and present recommendations and decisions to project teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS in Computer Sciences, Engineering, or related field.

  • Excellent oral and written communications.
  • Proven ability to research, develop, and keep abreast of tools, techniques, and process improvements in support of workforce solutions.
  • Experience with IT deployments, including but not limited to software, hardware, and operating systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years experience in pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
  • Experience managing large scale, global IT deployments, including but not limited to software, hardware, operating systems, and updates.
