Job description

Data Science Manager harnesses the power of data to drive robust analytical insights that inform some of Pfizer's most critical business questions.

Key accountabilities

The person in this role will lead prioritized efforts to frame, investigate and answer key business questions through market research and analytics plans. These plans include a combination of key performance tracking, customer data mining, competitive analytics and primary market research to fully understand, generate insights regarding usage of digital channels , to direct business lead in channel and content development for the Country

This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business.

Market Analytics

  • Partner with key external vendors to support the design of analytics and market research plans.
  • Collecting market insights to help in strategy development regarding HCPs preferred digital touchpoints as well as preferred content
  • External insights by partnering with external vendors (meta, google ,etc) to understand public/patient behavior
  • Internal Insights through commercial Ad boards and HSPs surveys
  • Provide comprehensive understanding of the marketplace and competition in order to drive accelerated and well-informed commercial decision making.
  • Recommendation for current channel usage as newly launched ones
  • Channel tracking and provide monthly analytics per channel
  • Work closely with cross-functional brand teams to help disseminate research outcomes
  • Connect research and analytics together to tell a compelling and persuasive story and deliver clear and actionable recommendations.

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines, as well as digital marketing tools and platforms, is highly desirable.

Experience and Knowledge

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or sales roles,
  • 5+ years on Pharmaceutical Multichannel/Digital Marketing Experience
  • Bachelor degree required, MBA is a plus
  • Proven track record of successful development & implementation of digital marketing / brand plans /business plans
  • Understanding of the key drivers to satisfy customer needs using digital and non-digital platforms
  • Strong track record of working collaboratively across different functions
  • Strong strategic, analytical capabilities and strong team management skills

Experience working with agencies/vendors, and strong team management skills
