In your role as a member of the Pfizer Cost Analysis team, your work will help to allocate costs, collect data and prepare reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system. Your role ensures that costs are allocated according to established procedures and investigates cost structures for new and existing areas of the company.

How You Will Achieve It
- Contribute to the completion of projects and manage own time to meet agreed targets.
- Understand the fundamental business drivers for Pfizer and make decisions within organization's guidelines and policies.
- Gather historical cost data on such activities as material purchases, labor, equipment depreciation, repairs, assembly, operating expenses, etc.
- Monitor business processes and develop analytical tools to track trends.
- Improve internal financial processes to gain efficiency, providing relevant and timely data.
- Prepare and enter journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and GAAP.
- Compile large amounts of data using advanced Excel applications.
- Present financial data to business partners and contribute relevant facts to help drive decisions.
- Develop and implement trend analysis and reporting processes for spending categories; financial models and templates for analyzing investments; reporting tools for headcount and overtime; compensation and benefits; and other various forecasting and planning tools.
- Identify financial team process improvements and implement changes.
- Participate in strategic planning and the development of the annual operating plan and monthly forecasts.
- Actively contribute towards Cost per vial reduction initiatives.
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting of Material Usage & Purchase Price Variance (MUV & PPV)
- Utilize Imex (Lean Sigma) tools & Methodologies.
- Perform Ad-hoc Costing Analysis.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Accounting/Finance Degree and 3+ years of experience.
- Strong Excel skills, including knowledge of pivot tables, trend analysis reporting (add more details)
- Accounting experience, financial modeling experience.
- Cost Management experience in a Manufacturing environment
Nice-to-Have
- Master's degree and relevant pharmaceutical experience.
- CPA, CA, or regional equivalent.
- Be able to perform complex data analysis.
- Management of multiple client stakeholders.
- Strength with multitasking and ensuring accurate detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and to handle several projects at once.
