About the role

We are looking for a Senior PET Modeller to join our growing Image Analysis team. In this role, you will analyse images taken from our on-site scanners to provide quantitative decision-making data to our commercial and academic clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with expertise in PET Modelling who is looking for a fresh challenge. Ideally you will be PhD qualified with some professional PET Modelling experience, however we will also consider non-PhD qualified candidates with stronger professional experience.

This is a hybrid working role split between remote working and working from our London offices. However, we are happy to consider remote working arrangements for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply modelling and analysis techniques to Invicro imaging studies to provide quantitative decision-making data to commercial and academic clients.
  • Help lead the experimental design of imaging studies, the application of established and novel image analysis methods as appropriate, interpretation and reporting of results.
  • Maintain a profile in the PET imaging field, through scientific publications and attendance of international conferences.

Qualifications:

  • PhD in a relevant field with 2+ years of work experience and ability to demonstrate knowledge of current developments in PET analysis.
  • Strong expertise in quantitative analysis with a deep understanding of bio-mathematics and their application to imaging studies.
  • Proficiency in scientific programming, using scripting languages and processing environments such as MATLAB and FSL for image data processing and analysis.
  • The successful candidate must have a 'can do' attitude, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical skills, a logical approach to problem solving and excellent attention to detail.

This role will work within our Invicro business unit which has recently been acquired by the Calyx group. Invicro is the world's leading translational imaging company. Based in London, Boston and New Haven, Invicro specialises in molecular and functional imaging studies to support medical and pharmaceutical research. Our London site operates a unique clinical and pre-clinical imagining centre with state-of-the-art PET and MRI technology used to support clinical research.
