Key Accountabilities:

Relationship management

  • Implements stakeholder engagement/communications plan.
  • Deals with problems and issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, lessons learned and the collection and dissemination of relevant information.
  • Collects and uses feedback from customers and stakeholders to help measure effectiveness of stakeholder management.
  • Helps develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships.

Service level management

  • Monitors service delivery performance metrics and liaises with managers and customers to ensure that service level agreements are not breached without the stakeholders being given the opportunity of planning for a deterioration in service.

Quality assurance

  • Contributes to the collection of evidence and the conduct of formal audits, reviews or compliance of activities, processes, data, products or services.
  • Examines records for evidence that appropriate testing and other quality control activities have taken place and determines compliance with organizational directives, standards and procedures.
  • Identifies non-compliances, non-conformances and abnormal occurrences.

Business Skills

  • Demonstrates effective communication skills.
  • Plans, schedules and monitors own work (and that of others where applicable) competently within limited deadlines and according to relevant legislation, standards and procedures.

Financial management

  • Work closely with the treasury team to initiate payments in the online banking system.
  • Translate bank statements into English and send them to related stakeholders on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare and manage the local book.
  • Prepare the local statutory reporting package, including but not limited to financial statements, GAAP reconciliation report, and balance sheet reconciliation, etc.
  • Be responsible for monthly VAT filing, quarterly CIT and Stamp Duty filing.
  • Prepare and submit monthly/annual statistical reports.
  • File journal vouchers in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Support seniors in the annual CIT computation and filing.
  • Be responsible for the annual joint inspection/declaration.
  • Complete other ad-hoc tasks assigned by leaders.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years working experiences in accounting related field, 1-2 years experiences in GL and tax
  • Good at MS Office applications with in-depth knowledge of MS Excel and other applications
  • Knowledge and experience of Workday system is a plus
  • Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills in English and local language

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA, CA or Semi-CA qualification is preferred
  • English: Fluent
