To provide a comprehensive professional facilities service to all users of Perceptive offices across our estate. Responsibility for regional operations, global reporting on ESG, HSE, compliance and regulatory matters including budget management for all office operations across our estate.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Operate budget responsibility and accountability for all Property costs and FM operation
  • Plan, budget and schedule office moves and modifications including project management tasks
  • Organize building maintenance including electrical & mechanical services
  • Oversee the day-to-day services and facilities operations (maintenance, mailroom services, reception)
  • Partner with Procurement to enhance supplier relationships and organize purchasing for employees project/department supply needs and process invoices
  • Supervise and ensure the effective and professional conduct of global and regional designated activities
  • Undertake the full range of duties relevant to the leadership, management, and development of direct reports to ensure that their performance meets and/or exceeds both the business and their own personal goals/objectives.
  • Responsible for BCP - planning implementation for assigned locations
  • Provide Health and Safety information to employees
  • Key contact person between Perceptive and building management for all locations
  • Partner with department heads and monitor BRC mandates to collect and act upon space "Needs and Opportunities" to maximize facility value
  • Site compliance for all inspections/audits, regulatory or client or statutory authorities
  • Overall responsibility for site safety including permits to work
  • Compliance with FM & building related law as required by statute

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, presentational and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
  • Demonstratable ability to apply critical thinking to problems and tasks
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements
  • Proactively participates in skills improvement training
  • A self-starter and able to work under own initiative
  • Proven ability of using Microsoft Office products (including Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to work across multiple stakeholders across the business

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience of managing global Facilities function
  • Deep knowledge of legal requirements at least one of the three major sites; Billerica, USA, Nottingham, UK, Hyderabad, India, preferably knowledge in more than one location
  • Ideally experience of working in and knowledge of the life sciences sector
  • Experience of managing 3rd party, outsourced Facilities providers
  • Experience of regulated environments
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of reporting team performance, managing a budget, benefits and KPI's

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree and / or professional global facilities experience
  • English: Fluent both verbal and writing
