The Facilities Maintenance Coordinator manages all activities relating to the maintenance and calibration of plant and equipment on or serving the London facility. This will include planning and management of shut down periods, data management, supplier liaison and planning, coordination, and completion of relevant GxP Quality documentation.

The Facilities Maintenance Co-ordinator will be the key point of contact for the operations teams with respect to planned maintenance and upgrades of equipment and local services for the facility GMP operations
Specific Activities:
- This position is responsible for building and equipment maintenance activities in the following areas of focus, but not limited to:
- Planning and support of installation, maintenance, moves and repair of laboratory instrumentation.
- Managing the asset inventory system.
- Ensuring that assets requiring maintenance are tagged.
- Managing the schedule of equipment calibration/service.
- Liaising with facility users on general instrument issues.
- Providing visiting staff with a first point of contact and with relevant site inductions.
- Liaising with the Facilities Manager and relevant Senior Leadership to ensure appropriate service agreements are in place and work effectively.
- Maintain day-to-day operational management with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services
- Responsible for QMS document management in Q-Pulse.
- Support Facilities Manager in ensuring that the facility meets business requirements.
- Manage access control system ensuring security of site is maintained.
- Support audits and inspections of site operations by clients and regulatory bodies.
- Ownership of the environmental monitoring system (EMS) including Daily monitoring.
Goods-in activities: - Processing purchase orders for consumables and fixed assets via the company procurement system.
- Placing orders with customers and tracking, receiving, and distributing deliveries
- Supply Goods-in service for laboratory operations.
Radioactive Support Duties: - Timely disposal of radioactive waste.
- Manage the issuance and collection of personal dosimetry badges.
Skills/Experience:
- 3+ years' experience of working in a Pharmaceutical or related industry.
- Training in GMP/GxP.
- Must have the acumen to understand technical service concepts
- Must have strong command of Microsoft Office applications.
