The role is responsible for the manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals, conducting analytical techniques to evaluate made products and providing support to other teams within the Clinical Chemistry department.

  • Ensuring the safe set up to self and others will set up equipment for manufacturing of radiotracers in accordance with high standards of a GMP facility.
  • Hands-on manufacturing of radiotracers, including the safe storage and movement of manufactured tracers within our lab and Clinic partners.
  • Conducting thorough and detailed analysis and record keeping both during and post manufacture of radio tracers
  • Assuming responsibility for the operation of analytical instrumentation such as HPLCs, GCs, etc.
  • Operating and maintaining standard chemistry equipment such as HPLCs, GCs and gamma counters
  • Conduct all work following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working to the GMP and Nuclear Regulatory Commission as well as other local, state and Federal rules.
  • Assisting with other routine laboratory activities, such as general lab maintenance, cleanliness and support of preparation and maintaining levels of consumables.
  • Identify anomalies in processes and escalate issues to leadership for team resolution
  • Interpreting data recognize aberrant results, and propose explanations and next steps to key chemistry partners including external sponsors, and Invicro Clinic, Image Analysis and Quality Assurance teams.
  • Summarizing data for reports, papers, and presentations.

Qualifications

  • M.S. or B.S in a related field
  • 1-3 Years lab experience
  • Knowledge and/or experience with chemistry, ideally including radiochemistry
  • Ability to lift up to 50Llbs weight

Preferred

  • Knowledge and/or experience with chemistry, ideally including radiochemistry
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred
