Key Accountabilities:
Sales and Territory Strategy
- Lead the development of sales strategies on an account by account basis which meet the needs of the company strategic plan consistently growing sales in the region.
Performance Management
- Through the development of specific territory strategies closely manage the performance of the regional sales team ensuring performance meets the required and agreed upon standards.
Launch new offerings
- In collaboration with the Strategic Marketing team introduce new products and services to regional clients ensuring positive outcomes against the strategic plan.
Sales Data
- Drive a culture of sales accountability by working with members of the sales management team to ensure a data led and highly analytical approach to sales performance.
Performance Management
- Supervises individuals and teams.
- Allocates routine tasks and/or project work.
- Provides direction, support and guidance as necessary, in line with individuals' skills and abilities.
- Monitors progress against agreed quality and performance criteria.
- Acts to facilitate effective working relationships between team members.
Resourcing
- Implements resource plans, including conducting recruitment interviews.
- Facilitates selection, assessment and on-boarding processes, and internal resource allocation.
- Contributes to transitioning of resources, complying with relevant statutory or external regulations and codes of good practice.
Other
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested.
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Relationship building within the customer environment is critical to success
- Ability to influence and negotiate with internal/external stakeholders

- High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is essential
- Expertise in CRM and collaboration tools with a specific emphasis on Salesforce.com

- Ability to identify the appropriate leadership style to manage the individuals in their team

Knowledge and Experience:
- Significant demonstrable relevant experience in sales to Life Science Companies
- Proven experience of directly & indirectly managing teams
- Specific and demonstrable success in developing a sales territory showing consistent year over year growth
- Proven track record in delivering sales results against a plan
- Demonstrable experience, identifying sales pipeline risks and developing mitigation plans
- Familiar with Korean/Japan/South Asia clinical trial market
- Language: will be great to be able to speak Korean or Japanese
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, physical sciences, or related field. MBA preferred
- English: Fluent
