  • Supervise a team of AR Analysts, assigning tasks, reviewing work, and ensuring timely invoice generation.
  • Maintain accurate and complete projects and customer contract records and documentation.
  • Liaising with Proposals & Contracts team and Project Managers on any queries related to customer contracts.
  • Monitor billing process for accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors.
  • Ensure compliance with billing guidelines, including contract terms and accounting standards.
  • Review and approve invoices before submission to clients.

Business Skills

  • Reconciling Projects/Customer Contracts created in Workday with Salesforce.
  • Investigate billing discrepancies and work with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Recommend process improvements to ensure accurate and timely creation of projects/customer contracts and customer invoices in Workday.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis.
  • Client portal setup/working with client to create the trade relationship by providing W8, W9 form, Vendor forms.
  • Assist with other accounting and finance functions as needed.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Generate and submit regular project and billing reports.
  • Analyze billing data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement.
  • Prepare presentations to communicate billing insights to management.

Team Development and Training

  • Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
  • Identify training needs and implement training programs for the team.

Complexity

  • Ability to perform a range of work activities in varied environments. May contribute to routine issue resolutions.

  • Understand the business drivers.

  • Carryout any other reasonable duties as requested.

  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Excel and Word or similar desktop application.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel - including working with pivot & formulas.

Experience, Education, and Certifications

  • Solid professional experience in the same or very similar role, preferably Life Science industry
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve performance goals.
  • With continuous improvement and critical mindset
  • Preferably with a master's degree in finance/accounting as Major Subject.
  • English: Fluent
