Overview
A CDP (Customer Data Platform) senior architect is responsible for providing thought leadership in designing and implementing customer data platforms globally to store, harmonize and segment consumer data to drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Meeting various data system owners and understanding data at a granular level
- Designing, developing, and reviewing data architecture for CDP systems, including data streams, data transforms, data modelling, data flows, and calculated insights.
- Collaborating with other teams and designing CDP integrations with other data systems and applications to support business goals.
- Designing incoming Data pipelines to load consumer data from various sources into the CDP system.
- Designing Queries, aggregations, Segments, Audience activations for customer journey orchestrations.
- Estimating deep technical & custom development solutions on the CDP platform that meet project requirements
- Creating and implementing data quality processes and controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Developing and maintaining documentation, such as technical specifications, data dictionaries, and process diagrams.
- Serving as Subject Matter Expert for everything architecture/design related for a global CDP rollout
- Ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA and other Data Protection Acts when creating CDP Designs
- Providing technical guidance and support to CoE team and stakeholders, including training on CDP systems and best practices.
- Helping stakeholders understand CDP's capabilities and the transformative power of digital marketing
- Continuously identifying areas to improve the performance of customer data platform, including scalability, reliability, and security based on inputs from monitoring and reporting
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in CDP technology to continuously improve the platform and processes.
- Contribute to CoE building activities by creating reference architectures, common patterns, data models and re-usable assets that empower our stake holders to maximize business value using the breadth of the Salesforce solutions available, also harvesting knowledge from existing implementations.

Compensation & Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
- Candidate should have total 16 - 25 years of total IT experience and at least 2+ years of relevant work experience as a CDP Architect
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of strong experience in data management and architecture preferably in the consumer data space
- 2+ years of experience as CDP Architect including data modelling, data flows, and data storage
- Hands on experience with Salesforce CDP (Data Cloud) software
- Experience in CDP integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud for activation on various channels like SMS, Email, Social channels etc
- Experience in CDP integration with AdTech platforms like DSPs such as TheTradeDesk, DV360 etc
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders across different teams and markets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and solve complex data-related issues.
