Overview

The Test Manager - PGT PQGC will be responsible for the delivery for all test types and phases for the PQGC deployment. This is a key leadership role that partners with the PMO, testing and non-testing vendor leads, technology teams, process value streams, PGT global teams, and IT Tech Services. In addition to successful test execution, the role is responsible for coordinating test readiness, test reporting, risk and issue management, and deploying testing approaches and strategies.

This role will be supported by vendor testing resources to ensure successful delivery. Test types include but are not limited to unit testing, integration testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, operational readiness testing, in project regression testing, automation testing. This will also cover testing required

The Test Manager - PGT PQGC will also operationalize global strategies, processes as prescribed by global standards, and refine in partnership with PMO and PGT and Enterprise Solutions teams This role will be responsible for project testing and delivering a high quality of E2E testing assets into all testing phases, including full automation and handover to regression testing / sustain.

Responsibilities

  • Refine and align testing strategy with PQGC project,including operational RACI, entry / exit criteria, per global standards
  • Manage all test preparation including building the team, tracking all test readiness and entry criteria
  • Drive test planning including resources, timelines,ways of working, capacity planning.
  • Localize, with alignment test documentation standards, tools, templates
  • Localize and execute all test and defect reporting - daily, weekly operating committee and leadership
  • Manage re-use of global template assets and previous deployment assets
  • Manage preparation of test cases, scenarios, data using Azure Dev ops
  • Manage requirements traceability to user stories, WRICEF, and business process hierarchy
  • Manage translation of requirements, including functional and non functional, into test requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Manage the defect management process
  • Manage testing risks and issues
  • Develop key test deliverables including strategy, plan, summary reports
  • Manage the definition of ADO reports, queries, etc using tools resources
  • Manage offshore automation teams to build and execute automation testing during project
  • Support regression testing strategy for sector with Global Testing team lead
  • Identify and implement opportunities to make testing higher quality, more efficient, and more automated
  • Coordinate legacy teams, including external partners for all test cycles
  • Ensure quality of testing during unit test, integration, system integration, and user acceptance

Compensation and Benefits :

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years project management / test management preferred 3+ years working in large scale SAP deployments
  • 10 Years experience in SAP Projects as an SAP Test analyst/Sr. Test analyst, Test manager.
  • Resource should have participated in at least 2 full life cycle implementations as the SAP test lead/manager for entire large scale project project.
  • Test lead/manager experience should span across implementation lifecycle including effort planning, test strategy, test preparation, execution, Reporting and closure of projects from QA perspective
  • Strong understanding in SAP release management process to coordinate with release management and Development teams
  • Resource should have hands on experience and a
    strong understanding of either SAP Logistics or Finance
    modules.
  • Should have experience of working a complex landscape and integrations with non SAP applications.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in management of of different testing types System, Integration, Performance, UAT and ORT, security, controls.
  • Understanding and experience in testing in Agile methodology, such as SAFe
  • Expertise in test tools for test management, such as Microfocus ALM, and working knowledge of test automation tools such as Worksoft Certify and Microfocus UFT, Jamo for mobile testing

Preferred but not mandatory:

  • Certification in SAP Logistics or Finance modules
  • Certification in Agile Methodology
  • Certifications in testing tools or testing domain
  • S/4 test management including Fiori
