PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) is PepsiCo's foods manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit. What critical experiences would you gain as a Sr Manager Sales Designate - Emerging Business?

You will learn about our business model, our processes and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally, interact with our team of sales professionals, develop and lead a strategic agenda to drive results. In this role, you will benefit from a 12-month program which begins with 4-6 months of structured onboarding allowing you the opportunity to acclimate to PepsiCo's fast-paced environment. This will build strong foundational knowledge while also increasing ownership and responsibility within the role to set you up for success.

The Sr Manager Sales Designate will learn the essential skills and develop a cross-functional network needed to execute account management responsibilities for Pepsi Foods North. This is an exciting role as you will eventually have full responsibilities for selling our full portfolio including both our Frito-Lay and Quaker brands specifically for the Emerging Business Team. This role will also serve as the Chief of Staff to the SVP of the Emerging Business Team. The qualified candidate will have excellent strategic selling and negotiating capabilities along with the ability to influence and wire across all levels of the organization. This is a very fast paced environment which requires strong time management and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully onboard to PepsiCo Foods North America, learning about our business model, our processes and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally, interact with our team of sales professionals.
  • Be part of the PepsiCo Foods North America sales organization learning the key PepsiCo competencies as part of Emerging Business team, eventually leading to a specific customer/channel for PepsiCo Foods North America.
  • Future responsibilities include:
    • Deliver Annual Net Revenue, Trade, and Expense budgets for specific geographic area or specific customer/channel.
    • Partner with team to develop and present Annual Operating Plan to your customer/channel and leadership teams.
    • Influence internal business partners to support your channel/customer and Growth agenda.
    • Recommend improvements and implement new processes and programs where necessary.
    • Partner with Sales team to help develop full year customer negotiation and JBP agenda.
    • Deliver pricing strategies as part of the overall revenue management process.
    • Sell in the latest Innovation, marketing programs, and strategic initiatives in order to Deliver Market share growth across salty and savory.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree Required (MBA a plus) & High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of customer selling experience; preferably with CPG company
  • 2-3 years of CPG experience in a direct store delivery environment
  • Wholesaler or Distributor experience preferred
  • Strong Negotiation, Analytical, Prioritization, Interpersonal, Problem-solving, project management, and planning skills
  • Compelling interpersonal skills with the ability to craft powerful and persuasive messages
  • Dedication and ability to succeed within a dynamic organization
  • Business & financial acumen
  • Ideal candidate will be open to relocate at the end of the designate program
