Overview

This role will help ignite consumer thirst for our PepsiCo beverage portfolio in South Division. This person will be responsible for developing and driving shopper marketing plans for the beverage trademarks in our priority customers. The work includes partnering with the national brand team, multiple cross-functional internal and external teams, and agency partners to develop and execute shopper marketing programs that deliver both short-term and long-term results for the assigned customers. This person will support the strategic retail marketing agenda that will drive volume, share, topline growth, and digital consumer engagement with a goal of exceeding industry benchmarks on led campaigns. This role will hone in on skills such as building strong team dynamics, dealing with ambiguity, influencing up to the highest levels of the organization, and driving for results.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement premier marketing programs for key PepsiCo brands in the market
  • Turn consumer insights into action by creating a locally-relevant brand program
  • Effectively influence retail marketing and deliver Volume, NOPBT, Share, and Net Revenue Plans
  • Execute the National Brand Priorities and Platforms at retail within the South Division
  • Partner with a cross-functional team to drive impactful marketing programs that are grounded in the consumer
  • Develop innovative ways to leverage local media to build awareness, trial, and a repeat of our brands
  • Launch national innovation priorities through sampling, customer-specific programming and consumer engagement
  • Manage assigned brand budgets and evaluate ROIs for all program spend
  • Collaborate with key Joint Business Planning stakeholders to build annual customer plans. This requires liaising with Sales, Commercial Planning, and Category Management teams to plan and develop marketing activations that deliver on identified KPIs/results
  • Develop ongoing relationships with retailer marketing teams to align on and build out the full year agenda
  • Work closely with eComm and Retail Media teams to implement digital strategies at priority retailers

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 - $178,100
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Marketing or Business preferred); MBA with a concentration in Marketing preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years prior to Brand or Shopper Marketing experience within consumer packaged goods; CPG Marketing experience required with a solid understanding and demonstrated expertise in the Marketing function
  • Must have a clean driving record and be willing and able to travel 15% of the time
  • Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving/analytical skills
  • Experience managing projects from brief to execution
  • Exceptional project & time management skills; strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Experience activating 360 marketing campaigns spanning digital (banner/social), radio, PR, in-store etc.
  • Previous customer & channel experience - presenting to external organizations
  • Solid strategic and execution skills with a track record of delivering strong growth results
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently - high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong leadership skills, exceptional collaboration skills and high ability to influence in a matrix environment
  • Strong and effective communication skills including verbal, written and presented with the ability to partner at all levels internal/external
  • Ability to build & leverage informal network
  • Ability to anticipate issues and resolve them based on sound business judgement
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish an asset
