This role is responsible for managing the sales strategy & planning across the Energy Category PBNA's West Division. You will be responsible for the development of Energy, sell story materials & channel AOP documents and be the primary Point of Contact with Sector Brand/Commercial Teams Rockstar, Bang, and Dew Energy.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for all energy score carding (PEP competitive scorecard - for Division President & all Division leadership)
- Develop sell stories for the sales function
- Drive weekly energy channel level scorecards, data analytics and reporting for West Division
- Work directly with customer teams to track new energy item launch/execution readiness plans in partnership with Innovation & Perfect Store managers; update innovation calendars as needed
- Collaborate with Rev Man, Category Leadership and Sector teams to support the development of energy channel AOP strategies (i.e. Bang partnership & execution / Rockstar strategies)
- Development of sell story and playbook materials, including evaluating division-specific aspects of macro-trends and key business performance drivers
- Keeps apprised of brand insights, economic conditions, retail industry and consumer trends in order to translate this data into sales and innovation forecasting
- Partner with the Sales team to develop POGS for key customers
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Revenue Management, Category Management, Finance and Sales
- Analyze customer information and business trends using IRI/ERT/Star 2 to identify areas of white space and expand business opportunities for energy
- Work directly with sales, revenue management and shopper marketing to develop customer-level PEP Energy plans
- Provide sales team insights and tools to drive flawless execution
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
- 5+ years of Category Management, Insights and/or Sales experience within the consumer packaged goods industry, previous Category Captain experience a plus
- Strong leadership skills: the ability to proactively set and lead an insights agenda
- Strong analytical skills: the ability to link strategies and objectives to tactics
- Excellent communication skills: the ability to send and receive information clearly and concisely
- Strong planning/organizing skills: the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Teamwork is essential in this role as this person will work very closely with account sales leads, cross-functional teams as well as the retailer directly
- High proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint with solid working knowledge of Syndicated POS (IRI), Consumer Panel (IRI or Nielsen) and Loyalty Card information (EYC)
- Must be willing and able to travel 15-20% of the time
