Overview
Manages the plant QC records retention and compliance programs to ensure plant is audit ready at all times. Manages the Finished Product Holds including determining hold product and release of hold product. Assists with department and plant training programs through various trainings and AM Drumbeat participation
Responsibilities
Tasked with preparation and conducting of onsite QC Audits including:
- AIB (GMP)
- F22K (Food Safety)
- FDA DEPA (federal and state)
- QAS (quality systems)
- Internal Audits (facility audit)
- GMP (facility inspection)
Records Review:
- Audit daily production line record packets and release finished product from SAP
- Audit Sugar and CIP records
- Review and print charting from Zarpac for faulty charts
- Enter for tracking coaching's and deliver to appropriate shifts and or departments. Review and record coaching returns

Finished Product Holds:
- Assist with determination of finished product holds
- Guide Sr. QC Techs with capture and writing of finished product holds
- Provide finished product sorting details
- Reconcile inventory of sorted product, provide release status, update and send report
Pest Control Program Owner:
- Check Pest Sighting Log each morning for any sightings
- Create contract agreement with service provider
- Review weekly inspections with Service technician
- Host regional Manager with quarterly inspections/audits
- Monitor binders for audit readiness
- Provide digression for any in-house sightings and ensure they are appropriately handled
Assists with trainings:
- Sensory
- AIB
- IPM (Integrated Pest Management)
- HAACP (Food safety)
- PCQI Level 3
Other Duties:
- Policies and Forms reviews for compliance as well as making any necessary changes to existing forms and policies to ensure compliance
- Calibrations for QC equipment including plant sugar delivery system. This includes scheduling with vendors to conduct onsite maintenance to audit, calibrate, and make repairs or improvements to equipment
- Monitor and track records of thermal flow meters
- Maintains and reinforces plant GMP's
- Other Duties as Assigned
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $42,000 - $67,000

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
- Two or more years of experience in Quality Control
- Demonstrate understanding of Quality Control processes including aseptic and sterile techniques
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point, and a Warehouse Management System
- Must work and participate effectively in a team environment
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Timely and effective verbal and written communications
- Highly self-motivated with excellent prioritization and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, internally and externally, to all levels of management
- Overtime required as dictated by business needs
