What critical experiences would you gain as a Sales Designate?

You will learn about our business model, our processes and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally, interact with our team of sales professionals, develop and lead a strategic agenda to drive results. In this role, you will benefit from a 12-month program which begins with 4-6 months of structured and project-based onboarding allowing you the opportunity to acclimate to PepsiCo's fast-paced environment. This will build strong foundational knowledge while also increasing ownership and responsibility within the role to set you up for success.

The Sales Designate will learn the essential skills and develop a cross-functional network needed to support the international sales teams for PFNA/PEP to execute the strategic agenda for the International Costco Business.

This is an exciting role, as the goal for the Sales Designate will eventually be placed, as organization needs require, in a critical Sales management role within PFNA, with sales responsibilities for a specific Customer, geography or channel. The qualified candidate will have a Global perspective/acumen, excellent strategic selling, supply chain and negotiating capabilities along with the ability to influence and wire across all levels of the organization. This is a very fast paced environment which requires creativity, problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration and a global mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully onboard to PepsiCo Foods/PepsiCo, learning about our business model, our processes and gain the experience of how to influence cross-functionally, interact with our team of sales professionals.
  • Be part of the PepsiCo Costco International sales organization learning the key PEP competencies as part of the PepsiCo Costco team. During your designate period you will acquire a global PEP cross functional perspective, eventually leading to a specific customer/channel role and serve as building blocks for a successful career with PepsiCo. Post the designate period, future responsibilities include:
    • Deliver Annual Net Revenue, Trade, and Expense budgets for specific geographic area or specific customer/channel.
    • Partner with team to develop and present Frito Lay/PFNA's Annual Operating Plan to your customer/channel and PFNA leadership teams.
    • Influence internal business partners to support your channel/customer and PFNA's Growth agenda.
    • Recommend improvements and implement new processes and programs where necessary.
    • Partner with Sales team to help develop full year customer negotiation and JBP agenda.
    • Deliver pricing strategies as part of the overall revenue management process.
    • Sell in PFNA's latest Innovation, marketing programs, and strategic initiatives in order to Deliver Market share growth across salty and savory.

Compensation & Benefits:

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $114,700 - $192,100.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually.
• Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree Required (MBA a plus) & High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of customer selling experience; preferably with CPG company and international sales/supply chain/commercialization responsibilities
  • CPG experience in a direct store delivery or warehouse environment, focused on Club, Mass, Food Service or Hard discount Channels
  • Knowledge and deep understanding of the retail industry, global mindset, with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive action and results
  • Understanding of global markets, strategic customer management, supply chain, and commercialization expertise, and/or managing a P&L
  • Compelling interpersonal and problem-solving skills, ability to craft powerful and persuasive messages, thrive in ambiguity, with business & financial acumen
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, collaboration, prioritization, project management, and planning skills
  • Franchise/Distributor/Joint Venture management a plus
  • Dedication and ability to succeed within a dynamic organization
  • The ideal candidate would be open to relocate at the end of the designate program
