About the Role: Night Shift Operations Leader
As the Night Shift Operations Leader, you'll oversee 9 production lines and a distribution center responsible for producing approximately 65MM cases annually. You'll ensure safety, quality, financial controls, and efficiency through Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) processes. Your leadership will build team capability, foster a positive work environment, and drive cultural transformation.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Execution: Develop and execute the Integrated Business Plan to meet annual operating plan (AOP) goals. Identify performance gaps, root causes, and countermeasures to drive continuous improvement.
- Performance Management: Deliver on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Motivation KPIs, leveraging TPM pillars and best practices to optimize processes.
- Team Leadership: Build and develop salaried and hourly talent through coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback, ensuring effective career development.
- Workforce Development: Foster Natural Work Team effectiveness through Kaizen Events, Autonomous Maintenance, and skills-based training.
- Operational Excellence: Utilize tools like Team Executional Planner (TEP) to develop TE and run strategies. Ensure integration of TPM pillars and technical expertise to enhance People, Process, and Technology capabilities.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner with functional groups and corporate teams to align goals and share best practices.
- Cost and Resource Management: Lead the execution of Cost Management Processes and department goals to ensure financial efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Technical field, or a related discipline.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in Beverage/Foods or Consumer Products sectors.
- 3+ years in Maintenance with a proven track record in root cause analysis and sustainable problem-solving.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Finance and Accounting, Project Management, and logical problem-solving techniques.
- Preferred Skills:
- Root Cause Analysis, Breakdown Analysis, FMECA, and 5-Why methodology.
- Advanced Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and SAP.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and cultural change management.
- Proven ability to establish priorities, manage tasks, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
