Overview

This role is responsible for the operational and business process management of the PFNA Financial
Planning & Analysis and Selling Systems suites of applications within the Enabling Functions organization to ensure the delivery of the services supports the business objectives of the overall PFNA Financial function.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the service delivery of the systems that support the PFNA legacy Financial Planning and Analysis value stream and the related financial reporting and close activities, as well as accountability for the Sales Accounting/Selling Systems applications and business processes that manage the flow of Frito Lay Sales to financial and reporting systems.
  • Partner with service delivery teams to review service Levels, KPIs and metrics to ensure service levels are met through regular operational reviews.
  • Provides application expertise and/or technical/integration expertise in the resolution of critical or complex application system issues.
  • Leverages strong knowledge of relevant business processes, technical components, 3rd party vendor software and application code to provide viable flexible technical alternatives to support business change and growth.
  • Ensures appropriate communication management to IT leadership as needed.

  • Manage the partnership with Finance and Sales Senior Managers and direct reports.
  • Manage escalations, communications, expectations, influencing prioritization.
  • Lead and influence the prioritization of Business Service Requests.
  • Accountability of the SLA's for Incident resolution for the legacy Order To Cash value stream.
  • Manages the AMS Vendor relationship including:
    • Governance of the service delivered by our Service Delivery partners.
    • Prioritization of the work performed by Vendor.
  • Accountable for the adherence of the ITSM processes including:
    • Change Management - prioritization, review of Release content, approvals.
    • Problem Management - identification and timely closure.
    • Incident Management - timely response and resolution of break fixes.
  • Partner with Information Security Group to ensure security, audit, SOX and compliance requirements are met.
  • Manage the Environment Planning activities for systems within span of responsibility.
  • Review and approve the Disaster Recovery Plans.
  • Transition Manager for all Development projects impacting systems within span of responsibility.
  • Partner with the Business Leadership to meet PepsiCo Foods North America business needs.
  • Partner with the Operations Infrastructure teams to ensure the technical needs to adequate to meet the business objectives.
  • Partner with application vendors to ensure timely delivery of solutions to meet the business objectives and avoid service interruptions.

  • Compensation & Benefits:

    • The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,800 - $172,100.
    • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
    • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
    • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience a plus.
    • 6+ years of related IT business work experience.
    • Experience in CPG industry preferred.
    • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively.
    • Provides excellent customer service skills to direct customer group.
    • Application Development or Operational experience of mid-large portfolio.
    • Project delivery experience.
    • Strong analytical skills to support problem troubleshooting, resolution, and root cause determination to complex functional application issues.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast pace and demanding work environment.
    • Strong documentation skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical personnel.
    • Good collaboration and partnership skills to foster key relationships with other technology, application and business teams.
    • Solid foundation in IT operational concepts and procedures.
    • Requisite skills to influence others in order gain consensus and alignment for key deliverables that span multiple teams and organizations.
    • Vendor management experience.

    • Performance Pay is a business-critical solution impacting the 18,000+ frontline sales associates at PFNA. Knowledge of Manage Services for application support.
    • Experience working in a DevOps framwork.
    • Strong functional knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis.
    • Strong functional knowledge of Sales Accounting and Financial Reporting.
    • Experience with Oracle Essbase.
    • Influence external technology vendors in timely delivery of solutions.
    • Collaboration with Delivery and D&D partners.
    • Collaborates with other Compute and infrastructure technology support partners.
