Working shift: Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu (rotational) 6am-4pm, Sat or Sun coming on 4:30am-2pm

Territories to cover: South Philadelphia, New Hope, Harleysville, Primarily Bucks and Philadelphia County with some extension into Montgomery County

Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) is PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales and distribution operating unit in the United States and Canada.

This position will be part of the North America Beverage organization.

Responsibilities

The Merchandising Team Lead (Flex Operations) role has responsibilities across the merchandising and delivery departments, with primary focus in the merchandising department. This role is responsible for leading a team of frontline employees to merchandise orders to key customers in a fast-paced direct store delivery environment and supporting the delivery department.

  • Apply knowledge of merchandising principles to drive productivity
  • Manage multiple priorities while allocating resources between accounts
  • Brief the frontline employees on scheduling and meeting delivery goals
  • Anticipate potential customer issues; apply contingency planning to avoid customer dissatisfaction
  • Train frontline employees and utilize PBC processes and tools
  • Understand cost per unit constraints when meeting customer needs
  • Help employees prioritize the work and promote teamwork
  • Supervise daily operations, delegate tasks and monitor progress
  • Set productivity and service targets, measure performance to drive accountability
  • Open delivery department at least 1x weekly
  • Cover shifts in delivery department when necessary

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $55,800 - $76,500 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience
  • Prior management experience preferred
  • Background in consumer-packaged good preferred
  • Cost management and labor cost management experience preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings and weekends
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 60 lbs. periodically
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States
