Responsibilities
- The Logistics, Distribution, & Transportation Supervisor (LD&T) will support the leadership for the transportation function in the Tampa FL location.
- Ensure carrier execution against transportation requirements, meeting requirements of internal and external customers (retail customers, replenishment planning, global procurement). Support of the annual procurement bid and bid readiness. Development of the right portfolio of carriers for the area to ensure adequate capacity availability at costs that deliver against our AOP and execute against service KPIs. Period performance reporting and scorecarding across the region and with carriers.
- Ensure compliance metrics for the private fleet are maintained.
- Initiative leadership and alignment with planning and customer service to positively assist in capacity management and support of payload opportunity, STS opportunity, and overall reduction of supply chain costs.
- Field transportation employee onboarding & development, and representation/education of the transportation function across the region (transportation coordinators and DC managers).
- Management and execution of carrier surge planning.
- Period financial reviews: delivery of actionable items and deviations from AOP, working in conjunction with the finance team for financial cause-of-change and forecast alignments.
- Power of One Synergy: Active participation in Regional and National Better Together Meetings; drive synergy opportunity, leveraging private and dedicated fleet(s) and engaging regional leads in a new opportunity and a solid understanding of the network; empty mile opportunity; co-load; and define and resolve network challenges.
- Active engagement with cross-functional teams to properly distribute products based on production volume, warehouse capacity, and private fleet capability, as well as the right mix of asset/broker utilization to effectively deliver products at the lowest landed cost.
- Manage and define transportation solutions for complex/JIT shipments.
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $64,300 - $107,650.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting the actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off is subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sickness, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of transportation management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT hours of service.
- Ability to effectively address and resolve conflict.
- Ability to lead and manage company fleet transport drivers.
- This position is limited to persons with an indefinite right to work in the United States.
