Overview
This role will serve as the primary resource for daily supply chain execution by working directly with the warehouse and transportation teams, supporting PepsiCo Food and Beverage Distribution Centers (DC) in Indianapolis, IN.
Responsibilities
Major Action and Support Actions:
- Route Orders daily in compliance with the transportation route guide; ensuring timely execution to meet the requested ship date and secure carrier capacity ahead of the competition.
- Operate the Transportation Management System (TMS) to route orders, track carrier performance and troubleshoot any loads that may be at risk of missing requested arrival date.
- Ensure all new orders comply with PepsiCo. guidelines on weight and method of shipment.
- Work with carriers to schedule all assigned outbound and inbound shipments to our facility.
- Schedule appointments in WMS on all loads; working with the campus manager and third-party facility manager on dock capacity scheduling.
- Work with all carriers on daily execution.
- Work with on-site Transportation to deliver daily and weekly measurables.
- Work with Customer Account Specialists (CAS) on scheduling issues.
- Work with CAS, Warehouse, and Transportation on loads not scheduled by end of period.
- Maintain reason code input within SAP for open order status reporting.
- Review previous day's dock schedule to ensure all orders shipped, if not ensure timely reschedule.
- Collaborate with the shipping office regarding specific shipment requirements.
- Accountable for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance on the Overdue Mill Transit Receipts Report and Shipment Status Report.
- Ownership of daily, weekly, period service metrics as they relate to the role.
- Will be cross trained to support other service center functions.
- All other duties as assigned.

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,000 - $71,800.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.

Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in Transportation or Logistics related field
- A degree in Supply Chain or Business is preferred
- Strong MS Office skills required; Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point
- SAP, WMS, TMS experience a plus
- Strong communication skills including good verbal, written and listening skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously/self starter
- Team player
- Ability to consistently achieve desired results, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, act decisively and set personal high standards
- Willingness to work Overtime and non-Monday-Friday work week, as needed by the business
- Ability to travel up to 5%
