LD&T Associate Supervisor

Tacoma, WA

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to implement, maintain and improve any new capabilities, processes and/or procedures that drive productivity and cost reductions across the Tacoma region.
  • Ensure accuracy of finished goods inventory levels and proper status at the attached Tacoma Service Center.
  • Facilitate movement of quality hold and rework product between local facilities.
  • Execute quality hold track and trace functions and communication.
  • Disposition of non-sellable inventory via destruction, donation or secondary market channels.
  • Develop thorough knowledge of WM2012, SAP, SOPs, policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the National Inventory Team to bring inventory between WMS and SAP into balance..
  • Responsible for execution, documentation and compliance to SOX controlled processes, as well as annual corporate audits.
  • Compliance to national freshness policies.
  • Verify systems in place to manage warehouse capacity are adhered to.

Within the Organization - Internal Warehouse Team (daily/weekly), Regional Transportation Manager (daily/weekly), DC Managers (daily/weekly), Warehouse Logistics and Supply Chain Integration Teams (daily/weekly), Dock Schedulers (daily/weekly), Delivery Processors (daily/weekly), National Site Inventory Control Teams (daily/weekly), Quality Department (daily/weekly), Finance (weekly/monthly), Corporate Audit Team (annually), National Inventory Team (daily/weekly), Local and National Planning Team (daily/weekly). All key job roles are consulted and aligned at frequencies noted to execute the sites' daily/weekly/monthly objectives and deliver against all site targets to internal and external customers.

Outside the Organization - Secondary Market Broker and Customers (weekly), Beverage Destruction and Recycling Facility (weekly), Common Carriers (weekly), External Auditors (annually), Civil Service Organizations (weekly), Foodbanks and Community Charitable Organizations (weekly).

Compensation & Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $72,500 - $121,300 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Five years of experience in warehousing operations, distribution, inventory managment or supply chain function.
  • Highly developed sense of responsibility and results orientation. Must be able to balance multiple priorities in a face paced, dynamic environment.
  • SAP and WMS experience required.
  • Computer literacy in word processing, spread sheets, graphics, along with the aptitude to extract information from all internal systems.
  • Must work and participate effectively in a team environment with diverse personalities.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships.
  • Strong communication skills including good verbal, written and listening skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-managed, with excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills including problem resolution / analysis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, internally and externally, to all levels of management.
  • Ability to consistently achieve desired results, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, act decisively, and solve problems.
