Overview
Lead Solution Architect for Manufacturing Planning and Detailed Scheduling. Responsible for End to End Solution Design and Governance for Distribution Requirements Planning, Manufacturing Planning and Detailed Scheduling for diverse production processes.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Distribution Requirements Planning, Manufacturing Planning and Scheduling IT Lead for architecting and governing solutions being delivered within the end to end process
- Conduct business and IT workshops to understand end to end business process requirements for distribution requirements planning, rough cut production planning and scheduling, articulate and propose the best possible solution
- Identify gaps, design & develop the solutions as required to enhance Pepsi Global Template solution capabilities across all in-scope PepsiCo markets and sectors
- Drive completion of key project activities in collaboration with the Demand, Inventory Optimization, Supply and Response, Replenishment IT Solution Design Leads and business partners
- Act as advocate of change
- Understand process interdependencies and ensure the design of fully integrated process solutions with other process teams such as Make to Deploy, Procure to Pay and Order to Cash
- Primary point of contact across the Supply Chain organization for overall status of the IT Production Planning Detailed Scheduling work stream - i.e. the "go to" person
- Collaborate with Global Process Owners, Global Process Leads, Solution Design Leads and Value Stream Leads on issue resolution and process design recommendations
- Escalate appropriate decisions making requirements or process "choice points" to Global Process Owner
- Willing to challenge status quo and ask difficult questions to drive for optimum solutions and outcomes

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $118,700 - $198,800
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 15% of annual salary paid out annually
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree or equivalent experience required
- 10 years of experience configuring, deploying and managing SAP APO and ERP with a focus on Production planning and scheduling
- 5+ years of IBP and SAP S4-PPDS experience - Must Have
- IT Expertise in solutions for production planning and scheduling
- Experience in Demand and Supply Planning solution evaluations and application in planning and scheduling processes
- Familiar with direct material procurement, production and inventory management, demand planning and forecasting processes
- Understanding master data needed for production planning and scheduling processes
- Experience with planning and forecasting for large projects and programs
- 3-6 years of project/program experience
- Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers, resolving very difficult and sensitive issues effectively
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Prior experience in working matrix organization and handling multiple stakeholders would be added advantage.
- Intellectually curious with a strong desire to learn
- IT leadership experience with supply planning projects
- Knowledge and experience in the following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP SolMan 7+, Azure Dev Ops, Quality Center and MS Project
- Solves highly complex problems within their work team
- Strong influencing, facilitating, and consulting skills in working with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and across departments
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in timelines and sequences
- Adaptability and flexibility including ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change
- Consulting background a plus
