Responsibilities

The Identity Access Management (IAM) Engineer will be the senior technical SME in the IAM organization and is responsible to architect, design, implement and support access management solutions in distributed OnPrem & Cloud infrastructure. Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues. Works closely with enterprise architects to ensure adequate security solutions are in place to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, while meeting business objectives and regulatory requirements. Provide technical leadership and deliver complex projects. Create and maintain documentation for security related activities and metrics reporting via Broadcom (Broadcom) IDM and Recertification tools.

  • Works primarily within the IAM space and must possess deep background and experience in this domain.
  • Creates and maintains standards surrounding documentation related to identity processes, procedures and infrastructure.
  • Assesses current applications and architecture to ensure current implementations align with industry guidelines, best practices and management approved standards.
  • May participate in projects including preparing project plans, assigning tasks, monitoring statuses, coordinating efforts, validating team recommendations, integrating efforts into a comprehensive strategy and delivering results on time.
  • Adapt the architecture to evolving security conditions and support security guidelines.
  • Develop and deliver applicable documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Foster the Agile DevOps culture through latest toolset to improve customer satisfaction through rapid, continuous delivery

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

Experience required

  • Bachelor's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Five (5) years of information security experience in identity management and recertifiBroadcomtion services.
  • Prior experience must include five (5) years of Broadcom Identity Management (IDM) or equivalent product development and configuration;
  • Development of workflows, custom connectors and troubleshooting issues with Broadcom IDM or equivalent technology; and Development experience using JAVA, Java Script, and XML.
  • Prior experience must also include four (4) years of experience with Linux and Windows platforms; and working with JBOSS, Apache, Oracle's OUD and other supporting technologies.
  • Prior experience must also include three (3) years of experience with Broadcom Governance Minder or equivalent recertifiBroadcomtion product experience.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience with Symantec (Broadcom's) Identity Management (IDM) or equivalent product development and configuration
  • 4+ years of experience developing workflows, custom connectors, and troubleshooting issues with Broadcom IDM or similar technology
  • 4+ years of experience development experience using Java, J2EE, JavaScript, and XML.
  • 3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows platforms
  • 3+ years of experience in data security practices and procedures, including systems analysis, authentication technologies, and access controls. Priorities will be given to those with expert knowledge and skill in UNIX/Linux system administration and scripting, JBoss, and Directory Services/LDAP
  • 2+ years of experience with Oracle 12c/19c or SQL Server Database is required
  • 2+ years of experience in Pentaho kettle scripts and Jasper Reporting tool

Mandatory Non-technical skills

  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work within project timelines
  • Deliver outcomes with a little supervision, must be a self-starter and self-motivator
  • Proactive approach and enthusiasm for problem identification and solving
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities
