Overview
This position would provide Dispatch responsibilities for our Traffic Center and would work out of the Dispatch Center located at 3050 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI.
Work Schedule:
3rd shift "1st Half"
- Saturday 6pm - Sunday 6am
- Sunday 6pm - Monday 6am
- Monday 6pm - Tuesday 6am
- Tuesday 6pm - Wednesday 12am
Responsibilities
- Manage daily dispatch operations including: run coverage, tractor changes, inbound/outbound activity, answering phone calls, etc
- Provide effective customer service to our sales partners including: daily phone calls from salesmen effectively communicating delays or changes in delivery times, etc.
- Ensure all runs are covered, following the policy and procedures outlined in the handbook
- Complete edits in PeopleNet
- Manage trailer information input and ensure accuracy using Yard Management System
- Data entry and updates in DPS (Dispatch Planning System)
- Management of load readiness utilizing ICS (Inventory Control System)
- Billing of loads and putting together paperwork
- Work closely with shipping, traffic, and spotter team to ensure communication flow
- Maintain dispatch logs as changes occur (on originals and in DPS)
- Handle dispatch and driver-related issues during shift
- Daily and effective communication to Traffic Center & Warehouse teams
- Other duties as assigned

Compensation & Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $37,000 - $58,950
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process

Qualifications
- Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills, ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
- Must possess excellent customer service skills and capable of handling a fast-paced, multitask-based environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office) required - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as 10 key a must
- Strong Background of working with different computer systems
- Ability to type 45 WPM or more
- Strong administrative background
- Must be able to work off-shift as well as nights and weekends
- Must be a strong team player
