Responsibilities
The Creative Director is responsible for leading insight-driven creative development across the wide portfolio of brands the team supports. They will be leading strategy, brainstorming, and ideation sessions, developing brand platforms and campaigns, creating content, and helping foster the growth of other creative personnel. A successful CD within The Studio is a humble, hands-on leader who can inspire marketing stakeholders with their vision and execute it flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Creative Director will lead 360-degree campaigns that integrate media analytics and creative best practices for brands
- Manage a team of creatives and freelancers in the development and execution of content for brands
- Partner with outside agencies and technology platform partners to ensure proper execution and best in class learnings
- Manage and supervise multiple projects and teams (both internal and external)
- Ensure the team has appropriate creative resources dedicated to the individual projects
- Meet brand objectives
- Ensure creative product adheres to best practices across media and platforms
- Ensures top-tier creative output that adheres to brand standards
- Lead brainstorm sessions
- Evaluate creative team and performance
- Develop detailed timelines and ensure creative team follows-through on those timelines
- Lead team through conceptualization to execution of creative campaigns
- Present work to internal agency team partners, brand team, and any other stakeholders for approvals / to sell the work
- Research and understand the client's needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, interviews with subject matter experts, and in-person meetings
- Be a key relationship holder for brand teams, understanding and mobilizing around the motivations and objectives of each brand and each brand steward.
- Be a visible and vocal creative champion at the Company by helping spot and shepherd good ideas no matter where they originate (Studio, Brand teams, external agencies, etc.)
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,900 - $249,900.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually.
- and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
- Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in a creative agency or in-house agency
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferred BFA/BA/BS/MS Degree In Advertising, Communications, Visual Communications, or Graphic Design
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign CS5 or above
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and Keynote
- Preferable to have design skills and capabilities
- Creative experience with broad brand marketing capabilities in CPG and other categories
- Experience in marketing, brand development, innovation, shopper marketing and/or consumer insights
- Proven ability to develop creative concepts and strategies that are insightful, relevant, innovative and effective
- Strong consumer empathy & customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything
- Proven collaboration abilities with both internal account and brand teams
- Strategic thinking and creative leadership skills
- Deep understanding of marketing strategy and ability to develop marketing tactics that deliver on brand objectives
- Creative leader who can bring a brand voice to life across omnichannel marketing vehicles and develop breakthrough marketing ideas
- Ability to think big picture and strategically, coupled with results orientation, and proven track record of strong tactical execution within the creative space
- Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages and present in a visual and compelling way
- People management experience leading and inspiring teams of creative professionals
- Entrepreneurial mindset - willing to roll up your sleeves and creatively stretch budgets along with being a creator themselves
- Purposeful brand leader: must be able to build compelling narratives around brands' purpose and translating that into action that builds business
- Proven ability to interact with senior level management across functions to deliver against strategic digital engagement goals
- Up to 30% travel
