Responsibilities

As a Controls Engineer you will:

  • Lead Technical Innovation: Drive the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of
  • Support Projects: Assist in installing and commissioning processes, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Optimize Operations: Implement process improvements in batching, CIP/SIP, to enhance operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to process parameters and operational conditions.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert, providing troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical support across the plant.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee control equipment vendors, manage project execution, and facilitate vendor-supplied training.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment data, capabilities, and efficiencies.
  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, and execute projects, ensuring timely completion with minimal production disruption.

This is an In-Plant Manufacturing Full Time Salaried Opportunity that requires being in the Gatorade Indianapolis facility Monday-Friday

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • Experience: 4-5 years in plant electrical applications, Wonderware, PLC's, and a strong understanding of control systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, SLC OR ControlLogix PLC)
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical applications, HMI programming, and Ethernet communications,
  • Electrical Understanding: Ability to understand electrical drawings, troubleshoot PLC programming, and troubleshoot low voltage electrical and control issues.
  • Problem-Solving: A highly motivated self-starter with proven problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work off shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Technical or Associate Degree preferred, with a background in electrical PLC and experience in the food & beverage industry is preferred
