Overview

PepsiCo's Energy Marketing team is looking for a creative and results-oriented Brand Experience Operations Associate Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will help lead a strategic consumer and insights driven marketing agenda that will drive volume, topline growth, and brand equity for Rockstar Energy. This role will hone skills in building strong team dynamics, driving logistics optimization, leading cross-functional planning, dealing with ambiguity, and driving for results.

As the Brand Experience Associate Marketing Manager for Rockstar Energy, your mandate will be to drive growth by supporting the marketing agenda both internally (across our brands & customer teams) and externally across the college and university, sports, music, and gaming programs. You will support the Energy marketing team, Division foodservice (C&U) teams, and external agency partners in the development and execution of marketing activations.

This role will also be responsible for managing product and promotional inventory, maintaining warehouse and logistic operator relationships, overseeing activation logistics, and providing post program analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Support the onsite marketing activation operations across C&U, Sports, Gaming, and Music programs, and work in partnership with Division sales and marketing leads to deliver against key growth metrics.
  • Manage product order forecasts, budget, and inventory for Energy marketing team and own relationship with DSD customer service teams.
  • Manage and own inventory and onsite organization of 3PL/warehouse operators.
  • Develop and manage region-wide syndicated programming, including the Rockstar Energy Collegiate Ambassador Program, by building a localized plan with Sr Marketing Manager to increase trial and intensify consumption with FSV channel.
  • Support the launch of national innovation priorities through customer-specific programming and consumer engagement sampling tactics.
  • Understand the student & recreation landscape and build tailored campus plans for each university in line with National Strategy. Own the development of marketing programs leveraging regional properties and assets.
  • Support Quarterly Business Plan development and planning.
  • Manage agency relationships to deliver breakthrough programs and creative that drive unique points of difference for our brands within the market or region.
  • Effectively manage A&M budget, which includes planning out full year spend, ongoing tracking and budget reconciliation and manage finance submissions for Brand Experience team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with consumer-packaged goods, experiential marketing, and/or event production preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing the agency process from brief to delivering best in class ideas, including ability to mobilize a diverse team of internal and external constituents to execute in the marketplace.
  • Strong leadership skills (i.e. able to present to senior management as well as external Agency partners) and ability to influence and understand varied points of view.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills and high ability to influence within a matrixed environment and able to build & leverage informal network.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently - high sense of urgency and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral).
  • Superior project management, logistics, and organizational skills.
  • Superior analytical skillset with ability to find actionable, pragmatic solutions for complex problems.
  • High proficiency in Power Point to develop visually impactful presentations.
  • Solution oriented, strategic, and strong attention to detail.
  • Solid execution skills with a track record of delivering strong growth results.
  • Exceptional project & time management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate issues and resolve them based on sound business judgement.
  • Strong ability to effectively collaborate and influence in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to travel 75-80% of the time.
