Overview
The Associate Manager, Financial Analysis is primarily responsible for maintaining the accounting and reporting of share-based compensation, equity and earnings per share calculations on a periodic, quarterly and annual basis, including the preparation of all related statements and footnotes for external reporting purposes. The Associate Manager collaborates cross-functionally with FP&A, GHRECO and Tax teams to ensure accurate and complete reporting, as well as acts as the main liaison between PepsiCo and our equity compensation third party ShareWorks by Morgan Stanley.
Responsibilities
Financial Analysis, Accounting and Reporting
- Prepare all aspects of share-based compensation expense calculations (e.g., Black Scholes, forfeiture rates)
- Prepare share-based compensation and equity related journal entries during the periodic, quarterly and annual close process
- Prepare all share-based compensation and share-related equity 10-Q/K reporting
- Serve as primary contact to Global HR Operations for all transactions related to long-term incentive awards (e.g., grants, forfeitures, vesting)
- Review proxy information related to long-term incentive awards
- Support FP&A on quarterly forecast to true-up share-based compensation expense
- Prepare PepsiCo's basic and diluted shares calculations, including earnings per share
- Review various board materials and external documents as needed
- Review materials presented externally related to PepsiCo diversity, equity and inclusion disclosures
- Constant drive to automate, streamline and simplify existing workstreams

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $85,200 - $142,650 based on a full-time schedule.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 10% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA
- 4+ years relevant financial accounting/reporting experience
- Thorough understanding of GAAP
- Strong Excel Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Masters in Accounting or Business Administration
- Public accounting experience with Big 4 firm
- HFM experience
- Knowledge of business and industry
