Position Summary:

Responsible for the daily/weekly maintaining of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, log and driver file DOT requirements tracking. Liaison for internal customer support. Track all return goods as directed by the customer for close out of returns from the private fleet.

Available Shift:

Workdays : Tuesday - Saturday

Hours: 9:00AM - 5:30PM

Base Hourly Pay : $22.61/hr

Major Responsibilities:

• Maintains and tracks inventory levels of all products stored in the Phoenix Central Distribution Center and the off-site cold storage facility (if applicable)

• Communicates effectively with supervisors on all inventory related issues and concerns

• Submits and tracks inventory transfers to and from cold storage facility

• Manages vendor receiving schedule. Sets delivery appointments for all incoming and outgoing product shipments

• Performs full inventory counts as well as cycle counts as needed with a high degree accuracy

• Counts 100% of all products in the facility at least once a week

• Makes inventory adjustments as necessary for products returned to the CDC from previous night’s delivery.

• Participates on all calls related to inventory such as daily outage call, inventory call, weekly performance, and systems improvement calls

• Corresponds with other CDC locations regarding inventory and operational issues. Determines best practices and submits recommendations to the CDC operations team

• Communicates non-conforming receipts via SBUX RIC process

• Makes inventory adjustments as necessary for product damages

• Ensure proper rotation of the inventory to ensure the FEFO process is being followed and keep track of code dates at both the Phoenix CDC

• Monitors snapshot report to insure product inventory levels balance between the Penske and SBUX inventory systems

• Manages inventory levels at cold storage facility, determine when to divert product to cold storage (if applicable)

• Schedule inbound Cold Storage loads (if applicable)

• Assist with facility IFS preparation for inventory tracking

• Escalates inventory related issues to appropriate Penske and Customer support staff

• Assist warehouse associates with inventory related issues

• Assists with training warehouse associates on inventory related best practices

• Additional responsibilities might be added depending on the needs of the operations

• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2 years of general office experience required

• 1 year of customer service experience required

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

• AS400 experience preferred

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
