Peloton is looking for a Vice President, Marketing Strategy, Member Engagement & Insights. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role oversees Peloton’s global marketing strategy & operations, membership strategy and engagement, and the consumer insights & strategy team. The right candidate will have the ability to partner with senior leaders across marketing and cross-functional organizations, like Product and Finance, to ensure we have a strong, data-led strategy that is widely understood and pulled through the team’s GTM plans. They’ll be responsible for guiding and reporting on marketing KPIs that inform both short- and long-term strategy to drive growth, brand love, engagement, and retention. The right leader is both a strategic "big thinker" who can set the vision for the team and a strong operator, willing to be in the details of tactics and execution. This person should also have strong business acumen and be able to tie data and initiatives back to the marketing and company strategy.

  • Drive Peloton’s annual and quarterly global Marketing strategy, tied back to the company’s goals, ensuring regional nuances are accounted for in messaging, engagement, and insights
  • Set marketing goals, objectives and track progress against key performance indicators
  • Oversee Marketing wide budget, operations and ways of working to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Lead Consumer Insights & Strategy team, providing data led insights to drive product pipelines, campaign feedback, brand metrics and solutions for relevant business challenges and opportunities
  • Oversee output across the full funnel (upper, mid, lower, and engagement) to ensure branding and messaging feel consistent from a consumer perspective
  • Drive strategy and GTM for member strategy and engagement to drive an increased engagement with our products and content and prevent churn
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships within the Marketing team, Content & Product and advocate for the strategic vision among these teams
  • Develop Quarterly Business Review and Board of Director presentations with compelling data led storytelling
  • Set clear goals and outputs for the Strategy, Engagement & Insights team
  • Develop team talent to drive growth and retention

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 15 years of Marketing strategy experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years leading high-performing teams, including managing senior-level talent and cross-functional groups.
  • Track record of successfully driving marketing initiatives across multiple international markets, balancing global brand consistency with local adaptation.
  • Experience with Consumer Insights and retention strategy a plus.
  • Marketing Operations experience and a demonstrated ability to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and ensure alignment between strategy and execution. a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence peers and partners at all levels of the company.
  • Exceptional business acumen, with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to connect data and initiatives back to broader marketing and company goals.
  • Proven track record in building and retaining top-tier talent, creating a culture of growth, accountability, and innovation within the marketing organization.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$304,000 - $406,000 USD
