ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Transportation Planner is a critical role within the Peloton North American Logistics organization. The Senior Transportation Planner is responsible for the optimization and execution of forward-stocking and reverse transportation for the US and Canada. This role is also the liaison between inventory deployment and transportation service providers within the North American distribution network. The mission of the North American Transportation team is to ensure a successful delivery experience for customers, while optimizing the costs of Peloton’s global supply chain. The Senior Planner role is critical to achieving the team’s mission, and affords many opportunities to lead initiatives, be involved in many areas of logistics and transportation, and grow with Peloton.

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Optimize and execute the truckload inventory movement of Connected Fitness Units, Accessories, and Apparel within Peloton’s North American network
- Execute the transportation of returned inventory from last mile hubs to regional DCs and refurbishment centers
- Execute the transportation of apparel inventory amongst printers, DCs, and other various touchpoints as needed
- Maintain the current inbound and outbound appointment capacity, calendar schedule, and limitations of North American distribution centers and last mile locations
- Identify and resolve daily obstacles that arise in a timely and cost effective manner, as well as manage unexpected constraints to minimize downstream impacts
- Daily and weekly reporting/communication with carriers to drive metrics and compliance
- Facilitate communications and resolve issues between transportation service providers and DC operations in real time to ensure the transport of product continues
- Execute logistics activities and projects while ensuring assigned target dates are met
- Maintain SOP documentation for the processes associated with this role; create or revise standard operating procedures for existing processes
- Establish priorities, schedule and track project assignments, while providing the appropriate guidance to cross-functional team members
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain or related field (transportation experience preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills, including experience working with warehouses and logistics providers
- Experience with a TMS/WMS preferred
- Must have strong MS Excel skills
- Effortlessly transition between working autonomously and collaboratively
- Strong financial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Focus on team accountability and development while driving process improvements
