Peloton Interactive, Inc. seeks Senior Streaming Engineer in New York, NY:
Job Duties: Responsible for multifunctional teams to define video streaming software requirements based on user needs. Assess feasibility of designing and developing new streaming software improvements within design and capacity constraints. Modify software architecture to improve performance and eliminate bottlenecks. Propose software architecture changes to improve performance, taking into account user needs and feasibility of changes, breaking down the changes into smaller tasks with proper estimation, and working on implementation of those changes. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to address them. Develop backend features to drive user facing functionality. Develop and direct unit tests and functional tests for feature and functionality. Responsible for ongoing software validation and troubleshooting. Develop processes and systems to troubleshoot and validate streaming infrastructure software by employing test tools, network management systems and error reporting systems. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Peloton offices may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the field of software engineering/program analysis or two (2) years of experience in the job offered.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Python; (2) Java; (3) React; (4) Go; (5) JavaScript; (6) Docker; (7) C/ C++; (8) PHP; and (9) Kubernetes. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Peloton offices may be required.
