ABOUT THE ROLE 

Peloton is looking for a growth-minded analyst to join the Retail Team. Reporting to the VP & GM, Retail, this person will gain a deep understanding of business context and needs, surface and enhance data on Retail performance, and inform strategic decision-making through analysis and insights. They will partner cross-functionally with teams across Retail, Strategy, Finance, Enterprise Tech, and Enterprise Data and will regularly communicate findings and implications to these global partners. 

YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON 

  • Partner with the retail leadership team to understand business needs, and opportunities for data analysis and solutions. 
  • Create and maintain dashboards and self-service capabilities for stakeholders through analytics and reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Google Sheets, etc.)
  • Manage weekly, monthly and quarterly business reporting, coordinating input from retail leadership and sharing with stakeholders
  • Identify trends, investigate drivers, and present findings to stakeholders, articulating the “so what” by translating insights into strategic, actionable recommendations
  • Serve as a thought partner to Retail functional leads (1P Retail, Inside Sales, 3P Retail, and Global Sales Solutions team). 
  • Support retail leadership in defining their learning objectives, defining success metrics, and implementing reporting for critical initiatives. 
  • Collaborate with data analysts & engineers to ensure retail analysis is accurate and consistent with the foundational data sets and function head reporting
  • Independently plan and prioritize work based on knowledge of strategic context for the retail team

YOU BRING TO PELOTON 

  • 2-3+ years of relevant analytical or business experience, preferably at an innovative retail, consumer products or analytics business.
  • Expertise in manipulating data in spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and developing analytical reporting using large datasets
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) 
  • Expertise in identifying data trends, investigating drivers, and using insights to craft a data-driven point of view and make strategic recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communicator, with demonstrated excellence in translating data-driven insights into compelling stories for diverse audiences, including executives, technical experts, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • SQL experience, or a strong willingness to learn. Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and highly organized, able to prioritize independently
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity 
  • BS/BA required, or equivalent experience

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes. Base Salary Range
$81,800$106,400 USD
