Your Career
In this role, you will own the entire testing flow for the product, from developing and maintaining tests to reporting results. You will shape the testing infrastructure by proposing and demanding new features, ensuring its alignment with evolving product needs. Additionally, you will manage the testing lifecycle for product versions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and efficient process from initial testing to release. This high-impact position combines technical development, process management, and strategic decision-making, providing significant opportunities for professional growth and making a direct impact on the product's success.
Your Impact
- Contribute to and maintain an existing in-house testing infrastructure.
- Work closely with the development team to design and enhance testing processes.
- Oversee the entire testing lifecycle, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Collaborate with other team members to refine and extend testing methodologies.
- Investigate and reproduce bugs, analyze logs, and report findings.
- Perform basic system and network investigations, including reviewing logs, checking system configurations, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Connect to remote systems and perform basic administration and debugging tasks.
- Assume responsibility for production releases, serving as the final checkpoint before deployment.
- Optional: Candidates with coding skills may have opportunities to contribute to tool development and automation tasks.
Your Experience
- Basic IT experience from a previous job, a computer-related degree, or relevant courses.
- Basic experience with SSH, OSs, bug reproduction and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with complex software workflows.
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with Python is an advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of vCenter and virtualization technologies is an advantage but not required.
- Knowledge of cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure) is an advantage but not required.
