Job Summary:
The Finance Systems Administrator will assist in the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of Outbrain’s finance systems. This role involves working closely with business users to ensure the system operates smoothly, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the ongoing customization and optimization of the systems to meet the organization’s business needs. The Finance Systems Administrator will gain hands-on experience with NetSuite while contributing to process improvements and system enhancements. The Finance Systems Administrator will report to the Financial Systems Manager, based in London, with a dotted line to the Director of Finance, based in Gurugram.

- NetSuite Administration:
- Assist with the ongoing maintenance of the NetSuite modules and integrations (Tipalti, Coupa, Concur).
- Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, and security settings within NetSuite.
- Manage the configuration of GL accounts and segments within NetSuite and maintaining the COA.
- Support the creation and maintenance of saved searches, dashboards, and reports.
- Workday Adaptive Administration:
- Ensuring that the daily integration between Adaptive and NetSuite runs successfully.
- Manage user accounts and security settings within Adaptive.
- Maintaining and updating the GL account structure, levels and dimensions.
- Updating exchange rates to ensure that the FP&A and corporate/statutory reports are in sync between NetSuite and Adaptive.
- User Support:
- Provide first-line support to NetSuite users, troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Assist in training end-users on new features (following the bi-annual releases), modules, and best practices within NetSuite.
- Document user requests, issues, and resolutions in BrainDesk (the Outbrain ticketing system).
- System Maintenance:
- Assist in monitoring NetSuite system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Participate in release testing and assisting users with UAT.
- Ensure data integrity by performing regular data audits and cleansing tasks, such as user licence reviews.
- Customization and Development:
- Work with the Financial Systems Manager and developers to implement custom fields, forms, workflows, and scripts as needed.
- Assist in testing new customizations and ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Process Improvement:
- Support the identification and implementation of opportunities for process automation and efficiency within NetSuite.
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements for new projects and enhancements.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure adherence to data security policies and procedures within NetSuite.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with financial regulations and internal controls (SOX).
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field, which can be substituted with equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, in an administrative or support role.
- Basic understanding of financial processes and accounting principles is a plus.
- Experience at a public company under SOX compliance requirements is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with NetSuite’s SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of SQL, JavaScript, or other programming languages is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Soft Skills:
- Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the NetSuite platform.
