Senior Manager, Strategic Planning

About the role

The Senior Manager, Strategic Planning is responsible for driving the strategy and implementation of the department specific programming. The role collaborates cross functionally, leveraging data to make informed decisions.

You will report to the Director, Clinical Strategy and Operations.

This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $131,200- $172,200 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $118,080- $154,980 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in setting, driving and executing the strategy for department specific programs.
  • Identify success criteria, and implement operating metrics to measure success; analyze data to own root cause analysis and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Program management of key department and cross functional strategy initiatives.
  • Build operating playbooks and workflows to get the most value out of department initiatives.
  • Development and growth of direct reports (as applicable), ensuring that colleagues are supported in their professional development needs.
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years experience in strategy and operations.
  • 4+ years project planning and program management experience.

Bonus Points

  • Master's degree.
  • Management Consulting experience.
  • Experience leading large-scale cross functional initiatives.
  • Experience with Excel and financial modeling experience.

Pay Transparency:  Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 11 paid holidays, paid sick time, paid parental leave, 401(k) plan participation, life and disability insurance, and paid wellness time and reimbursements.
