About the role
The Senior Market Manager supports market strategy, membership growth goals, and senior level provider management by ensuring providers across our service area have the information and support they need to exceed member growth and financial targets. Also, the Senior Market Manager develops and analyzes trends that help build the best member care and quality outcomes, while meeting affordability targets. The Senior Market Manager develops relationships with community partners and develops important insights within our markets to guide overall growth strategies. The Senior Market Manager operates in a matrixed organization and builds partnerships across the organization.

Pay Transparency:
The base pay for this role is: $144,000 - $189,000 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar’s unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our teams to develop strategies to improve profitability and sustainability of our markets
- Complete necessary tasks of the assigned market(s) growth, profitability, and affordability plan.
- Support overall large system relationship management and strategies.
- Develop industry relationships to manage market growth, profitability, and affordability efforts.
- Develop market insights to inform and guide network strategies, product strategies and overall growth strategies
- Manage team members responsible for the servicing, education and communication to our provider network.
- Identify and guide team and company wide programs to improve quality and financial performance across the assigned market(s).
- Monitor assigned market(s) to gauge compliance with standards, implementing corrective actions to improve deficiencies.
- Help inform important business strategies to achieve market goals and mitigate risks.
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in healthcare client management, healthcare consulting, healthcare finance, performance management, healthcare strategy, or a related field
- 4+ years experience running financial analyses on a markets or products, and working cross-functionally to improve opportunities and increase growth and profitability
- 3+ years of experience managing and coaching a team
- 3+ years experience in process improvement and workflow design

- ACA marketplace, quality of care, and population health experience

Pay Transparency: Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
