Purpose and Job Summary:
ORIX Corporation USA is seeking an Associate Level, Cloud Data Governance Engineer to join the Enterprise Data Solutions team responsible for Mastering Data using MDM Tools, Cataloging efforts for ORIX and its affiliate companies. This individual must be eager to kickstart career in Data Mastering, Data Governance and are looking for a dynamic learning opportunity. The candidate will work closely with multiple teams across IT and business and support high-quality provisioned for data warehouse platform.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in various data-related tasks and projects under the guidance of senior team members.
- Experience with SQL databases and ability to write and optimize queries.
- Manage and query SQL databases to extract and analyze data.
- Proficiency in database and data warehouse concepts.
- Python programming experience is preferable in parsing structured and unstructured data.
- Apply knowledge of data theory and data structures to extract meaningful insights.
- Collaborate with team members to support data-driven decision making.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and tools in the data field specifically Data
- Governance, Data Integration, Data warehousing and Master Data Management.

Skills:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year university in mathematics, statistics, information systems,
- Excellent, demonstrated, ability to resolve problems using a logical and analytical process.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to work well within a team.
- Ability to work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to meet the organization's data needs.
- Clear documentation of processes, code, and systems.
- Explaining technical concepts in simple terms to stakeholders.
- Ensuring that data is correctly processed and transformed.
- Keeping an eye on system performance and quickly identifying issues with data pipelines.
- Willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies in a fast-changing environment.
- Being open to receiving guidance from senior engineers and asking questions when unsure.
