Purpose and Job Summary:
Lument provides comprehensive capital solutions for multifamily, affordable housing, seniors housing and health care services companies. This includes a full suite of financing and strategic solutions such as investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, mortgage banking, private equity, a variety of direct balance sheet lending options, and investment sales. The Mergers & Acquisitions group is seeking an Analyst to contribute to the growth of the business, focusing on the seniors healthcare industry and ancillary services. The Analyst will be an integral part of the team, responsible for a variety of technical analysis related to new and existing clients, lead research and development, produce routine reports such as quarterly public company earnings and activities.

Lument is currently seeking to hire a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst for its Columbus, Ohio or other regional Lument office locations considered such as New York and Dallas. The M&A advisory group within Lument has a lean senior team, led by Wall Street veterans who focus exclusively on sell-side, sale/lease-back, operator replacement, ESOP, and JV/equity capital deployment advisory and will offer an Analyst transaction exposure typical of more senior professionals.
Annual base salary gross: $80,000 - $100,000 (NY only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of the Lument's salary for this position. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of L's total compensation package for employees. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis and valuations for M&A transactions
• Creation of offering memoranda, management and board presentations, pitch books (PowerPoint), and other material relevant to originating and executing M&A transactions such as due diligence support
• Deal management from pitch to closing including day-to-day interactions with Lument's banking staff, buyers, sellers, and other deal participants.
• Review and summarization of legal documents
• Track industry developments, trends, and comparable transactions
• Involvement in M&A team strategic initiatives to continue growth trajectory
• Work professionally and harmoniously with team and coworkers.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements - 15 %
Education, Skills and Experience:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, real estate, or related field strongly preferred
• MBA or Masters degree with emphasis in finance, accounting meaningfully considered
• 1-2 years of investment banking, M&A, or related experience required
• Ability to work well under pressure, stay organized, and adjust to varied workloads
• Position requires focus and attention to detail, an independent, self-starter mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Candidate must demonstrate integrity, a professional demeanor, a positive team-based attitude and the ability to maintain confidentiality in all respects
• Initiative and strong sense of personal motivation as well as responsibility
Preferred:
Work experience in the senior care and/or other healthcare real estate sectors is preferred, but not required
• FINRA Series 79 and 63 required within 60 days of start date
